Red, white or Monique?

I think is part of every girl’s childhood to dream of being the Cinderella. Beautiful gowns, music, Prince charming … Well, we are not looking for Prince Charming anymore, little old for that, but you never know… what if you have been invited to a very elegant Gala? You need a dress right? Not just “a” dress, something special. Then Monique Lhuillier should be at the top of your list.

From her latest catwalk, I love the red one more than anything else… for some reason I believe that dress is not really her, is not part of her style. Like is a colour palette that seems to be far from what she would have normally designed but in some way, it works. And I love it!

In the beginning, an Apple…

What I do love about fashion is that no matter what you do, what’s your job, where you live and where you go, it will always show you something that you’d dream to wear. Sometimes I look around and imagine that every clothes, shoes, accessories people choose, are somehow part of a ritual. Don’t you smile when you try a dress on? don’t you look in the mirror every time you wear a new pair of shoes? So I guess we can say that shopping, being for fun or necessity, creates little happiness… am I right?

Fashion Week lately seems more fashion month, or fashion year. Weeks after weeks from all over the world creative minds come together to celebrate style at its highest level. So this is what I’d like to do: tell you what I love, what I dream to wear and what I’d try to get into my wardrobe. To make it happy… of course!

So let’s start with some juicy designers from the Big Apple. Stay tuned!
