Dress the Chair
This year at Salone del Mobile, Artek presented the project “Dress the Chair”, a re-interpretation of the Armchair 400 disigned by Alvar Aalto, in collaboration with Missoni. The outcome -well- it’s gorgeous! 
This Armchair was presented the first time at Triennale in Milan back in 1936, and now after Salone 2010 it will tour around the world visiting New York, Sydney, Tokyo and Helsinki where other artists will have a chance to redesign with their own creativity this amazing piece of design history. After the tour, the best interpretations will be showcased in an exhibition in Helsinki.
