The stripes behind the curtains

I found this picture at work, on a board where my boss keeps ideas and thoughts. Unofrtunately I am not sure where it’s from, but I really like it… most likely she’s got it from an interior design magazine or Martha Stewart, considering how much she loves her.

I love the curtains, lamps, chair, the wall with all those pictures and the contrast they all make together. Maybe it is not as ideal as it looks, something you see on magazine but you could never recreate at home because the stripes can hypnotise your guests, and light gets distorted by those curtains.
But maybe… one day, in a castle with thousands of rooms, this could be Ms Lilac’s studio?! You never know!
