Julie & Versace

Those looking for more information on Julie Verhoeven, will find her website is currently under construction, however Google Search can offer details and beautiful images of her works.
The dresses above come from a cooperation with Versace for the Spring/Summer 2009 Collection. I quite like them, and I like them even more because they seem enjoyable and potentially purchasable by a broader audience – …never underestimate this particular detail when it comes to luxury brands!

Desperately Seeking Help!

I easily get lost… when I see something I really like, and i can’t understand how to get it… and information does only exist in German or Swedish, well… then I need someone (aka my beloved inamorato) to bring me back to the real world and drag me away from my researches!
He knows I could waste the whole day on something that apparently does not even exist… and probably never wil. That is to say: stop it, deep breath, and let’s enjoy this Sunday!

It is a new Home collection from H&M, in cooperation with an artist that I very much like: Julie Verhoeven. This linen set is available for purchase only from their North European website, but I can’t find the queen size or details on delivery. Arrgghhh, they don’t even deliver in Italy… imagine Sydney!
So here my request: if you manage to find this quilt cover with 4 pillowcases and have it home delivered, I can transfer money straight away and give you my address… Please!!!!

It’s where you take things to…

I found this Jim Jarmusch’ quote on a very cute blog…
So the question is this: where is your daily inspiration coming from?
I believe inspiration may come from any day-to-day episode, just by giving people and things the power to affect our life in any possible way. I don’t think stealing is the right word, it’s rather reinterpreting and readapting to your style. Adding that touch of personality that will make everything… special!

Amy… oh Amy!

I have the feeling that nearly everyone, in the old homecountry, is planning a wedding or is just about to. So, as I work with weddings, here a website that could give ‘em some tips… and maybe can help some Ozie too! Amy Atlas is a super talented New Yorker pâtissier/stylist whose creations can truly inspire anyone… not only for big events.

As Amy says, “your party should be an expression of you”.

Colour Inspiration: Blue

This is not another post on design, I have dedicated enough room to it in the last few weeks, it’s time for a break!
I have been planning to begin a new section devoted to colours, and here I am… my hands already stained with oil paint! I am thinking to do a weekly or monthly thing… it really all depends on how many images I can find in the blogosphere, and of course I need them to be all superfancy.
For the first one, I feel blue… well, not blue-blue… I mean not like in sad-blue, no but… -hey- I feel colour-blue!
