As Tracie said… Hello Sienna!

Only couple of shoots, then no more bedlinen for a while, I promise.
This is Aura Home by Tracy Ellis, a stylist from Melbourne whose creations are quite special. I am absolutely positive, you will find many on this blog, and particularly from the latest collection.

How amazing is the black wall?! I want it NOW!!!

A rising passion for cushions….

I always grinned thinking of hundreds of cushions on the bed.
They are there, every night you need to take them away, store somewhere and then every morning, get them back on the bed before going out. So much effort, why should I waste my time like that?!

Then one day you are looking around, see beautiful pictures and start thinking that maybe -maybe- they are not too bad. Well, they are nice… they can’t hurt, they are cushions!

And that’s the start of all the speculation, and you create excuses for your rational, clever mind like “they are comfy for reading”, “look , how beautiful they are”, “you can have them in different colours with all the bed linen set and they are not sooo expensive…”

Point of no return. Now the hard part is peruasing the other half you live with that they are an excellent idea, perfect in every apartment or house we would ever live, multifunctional and that is scientificly proven. It is not true, but the most important thing is being persuasive while you say it!

Miss French Navy

One thing I always loved is stationery. All sorts of it!
Notebook, diary, pens… Each year before going to school there was a personal mission to buy the special pen, the one writing better than any other, the one I couldn’t live without. Or the perfect notebook, with the smoothest pages. An auspicious gift for the coming year!
Since I arrived in Australia, a new passion has been growing in me: I love invitations, cards and special notes. For weddings, or greetings, you can find beautiful invitations with beautiful styles, simple or sophisticated, there is one to suit every occasion.

Miss French Navy is the first I want to share.

I requested to also have a cat in the range and I was assured, it will come soon. When it does, I will post it straight away!

Number one

Where should I start from… It’s harder than you would imagine!
Maybe I should start from the idea, understand where everything was originated and then see, in time, how it grows, evolves, or even ages.
This blog is born in Australia, under a beautiful blue sky, crisp ocean, waves, beaches, and kangaroos of course… a beautiful country with so much to offer but also a place far far away where millions of things are not accessible, yet.

In my day-to-day life, at work, with friends and colleagues, I get in touch with beautiful things and things that maybe is worth talking about, I now realize.
Perhaps is a puzzling message, but it’s true and I believe it deserves to be talked about… here and there.
Questions?! Probably. Many. Then, ask. I’m here!
